3 Things that can be learned when the Gospel is preached:

1] How to be Saved

2] How to Know you are Saved

3] How to Explain how to be Saved to somebody else

 

The “Rich Man” was a “Good” Person

 

1] He was Compassionate

-he Let a Beggar Live on His Compound

-he let a beggar have the left-over food

-he let the beggar have dogs around

 

2] He was Religious

-he knew of “Father Abraham”

-he recognized where he was (Hell)

-he recognized his brothers were in danger of Hell

 

3] He was wealthy

-he likely had a good work ethic

-he was successful financially

 

But, he was lost and neglected to trust Christ and be saved
