1.Preoccupation with Death [v. 1-3a]

2. Powerful Demonstrations [v. 3b-4 often accompany alcohol, drugs, etc]

3. Personal Destruction [v. 5 cutting, binging, purging, drugs, alcohol]

II. SIGNS OF SPIRITUAL ACTIVITY [Mk. 5:6-13]

1. "Religion" Does Not Mean Salvation [v. 6]

2. "Recognition" Does Not Mean Submission [v. 7-8]

3. "Release" Does not Mean Serenity [v. 9-13]

III. SIGNS OF TRUE SALVATION [Mk. 5:14-20]

1. Your Decision May be Ignored by the World [v. 14-17]

2. Your Desire Should Be Toward Heavenly Things [v. 18]

Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

1 Corinthians 14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
