AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT…

Pastor Rick Jackson

I. AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR SALVATIONAL PROCRASTINATION

1. Condemned Already [John 3:18] …he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

2. Life is Fleeting [James 4:14] Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

3. Salvation is a Limited Time Offer [Hebrews 2:3, 9:27] How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

II. AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR SPIRTUAL STAGNATION

1. Prayerless & Powerless [Dan. 6:10, Lk. 18:1, Matthew 17:21, Matthew 26:41]
…he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God,
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

2. Ignorant & Unready [2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Peter 3:15]
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

3. Isolated & Indolent [Matthew 16:18, Hebrews 10:25, Psalm 122:1, Eph. 2:19-22]
I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

III. AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR SLACK SERVICE

1. Our Testimony Must Be Salty! [Matthew 5:13]
 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

2. Our Light Must Shine! [Matthew 5:14, 16; Ephesians 5:8]
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

3. Our Voice Must Be Heard! [Acts 5:20]
Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
