WHAT DO WE WANT FOR THOSE TAKING THE TRIP?

I am not just talking about those on the trip to the Bill Rice Ranch but I am referring to all of us on the trip of life. I will use the Ranch trip to illustrate the greater trip we are all taking.

I. REALIZATION

1. The Only Safety is in Christ [Psalm 4:8, Proverbs 21:31, 11:14]

2. The Only Sense is in Christ [1 Corinthians 14:33,2 Corinthians 10:5]

3. The Only Serenity is in Christ [Isaiah 26:3, John 14:27]

II. RELAXATION

1. Fun – the enjoyment of God’s Beauty [Gn. 1:31, 2:9; Ps. 19]

2. Food- the enjoyment of God’s Bounty [2 Corinthians 9:11, 1 Tm. 4:3-4]

3. Fellowship- the enjoyment of God’s Brethren [Heb. 2:9-13, 1 John 1:6-7]

III. REJUVENATION

1. Salvation [John 3:3,7; 2 Cor. 5:7, 1 Peter 1:23]

2. Sanctification [1 Thessalonians 4:3-4]

3. Dedication [John 15:14, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Colossians 3:17, 23]
