II. THE JOURNEY OF GIDEON

1. God’s Word Makes the Difference [7:9-14]

2. Gideon’s Worship Manifests the Difference [7:15]

III. THE GOD OF GIDEON

1. The Sword of the Lord [7:20-25, Eph. 6:17]

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

2. The Fear of the Lord [7:14, Ps. 111:10,  Pr. 1:7]

-The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments:] his praise endureth for ever.

-The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

3. The Glory of the Lord [7:2, Gal. 6:14]

-But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
