II. FOR THE CHRISTIAN, LIFE IS A MINISTRY [v. 7-11]

 

1. We Should Have Fervent Charity [v. 7-9]

2. We Should “Work” Our Gifts [v. 10-11]

3. We Should “Give God the Glory” [v. 11]

 

III. FOR THE CHRISTIAN, LIFE IS A MORTIFICATION [v. 12-19]

Romans 8:13 - For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Colossians 3:5 - Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
