1. Gender [3:1, 4:7]

2. Religion [3:1, 4:20]

3. Name Recognition [3:1, 10; 4:7, 9, 21]

4. Reputation [3:1, 4:9, 42]

5. Timing [3:2, 4:6-7]

6. Approach [3:1-2, 4:7]

 

II. COULD THEY BE ANY MORE SIMILAR?

 

1. Both were Sinners [4:16-19, 29]

2. Both Needed a Saviour [3:10-18, 4:20-26]

3. Both Received Christ and Served Him [3:19-21, 4: 39-42]

 

John 7:50-51 Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them, Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?)

John 19:39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
