I. BELIEVE IN GOD

 

1. Without Faith it is Impossible to Please Him [Heb. 11:5-6]

 

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

 

2. Have Faith in God [Mk. 11:22] not just about Him but have faith IN Him!

 

3. Believe and Tremble or Believe and Trust [James 2:19, Hebrews 12:28, 1 Peter 2:17]

 

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

 

II. BELIEVE IN GOD THE SON

 

1. A Priority of Belief [Jn. 14:1] Believe in Jesus as much as you believe in God!

 

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

 

2. A Priority of Behavior [Jn. 14:15] Your faith should shape your lifestyle.

 

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

 

3. A Priority of Boldness [Eph. 6:19, Rm. 1:16, Acts 4:29, 31] Boldness in telling others!

 

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly , to make known the mystery of the gospel,

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

 

III. BELIEVE IN GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT [Acts 19:2]

 

He said unto them , Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him , We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

 

1. Do Not Lie to Him [Acts 5:1-4]

 

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it, at the apostles feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own ? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

 

2. Do Not Grieve Him [Eph. 4:30-32]

 

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another , tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

 

3. Do Not Quench Him [1 Thess. 5:18-23]

 

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
