JOB 1:22

I. JOB'S SITUATION

1. Job was a family Man

2. Job was a Wealthy Man

3. Job was a Godly Man

II. JOB'S SITUATION CHANGED [v. 6]

1. God allows Satan into His Presence

2. God allows Satan to Speak & Accuse

3. God granted Satan's Request [v. 11ff]

III. JOB'S RESPONSE [v. 20-22]

1. It is NOT wrong to grieve [v. 20a, 1 Th. 4]

2. It is right to Worship

3. God's Great Goal for us [v. 22, 2:10]

is when we go through trials to not curse God, not accuse God as Israel did when they said "God you brought us here to the wilderness to die."

The temptation for Job was not to quit on God an live for the flesh [1:5, 9-11, 2:5, 9]

Job's two responses-

1] God is in control [1:21]

2] God makes no mistakes [2:10] -even if our perception is good or evil
