THE WORLD, THE NATION, THE INDIVIDUAL

Pastor Rick Jackson

I. THE WORLD AT LARGE [GENESIS]

1. Dominion given [1:26-28, 2:15-17]

2. Dominion abdicated [3:1-13]

3. Deliverer promised [3:14-15]

I Co. 15:21-24 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

II. THE NATION IN QUESTION

1. God established the unbreakable Abrahmaic Covenant [Gn. 12:1-3, 13:14-17, 15:1-21]

2. God established chasten for breaking the Mosaic Covenant [Lev. 26:33-46, Dt. 28:63-66]

The Mosaic covenant NEVER annuls the Abrahamic covenant!

Gal. 3:17-18 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

3. God established the Messiah to restore Israel [Is. 7:14, 9:6, 59:20-21, Rm. 11]

III. THE MAN IN NEED

1. The soul that sinneth

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

2. The sinner that repenteth

Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Luke 15:10Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

3. The Saviour that satisfies

Rm. 3:24-26 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
