YOU CAN MAKE IT!

GN. 6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

I. YOU CAN MAKE IT THROUGH DIFFICULTIES

1. Physical Difficulties [Job. 2:7-8, 2 Cor. 11:24-27]

- So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

-Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

2. Spiritual Difficulties [Lk. 22:31, Eph. 6:12, 1 Pt. 5:8]

-And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

-For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

-Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

3. Temporal Difficulties [Rm. 5:18, 2 Cor. 4:17-18]

-For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

-For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

 

II. YOU CAN MAKE IT WITH GOD

1. God’s Christ [Ph. 4:13]

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2. God’s Word [Rm. 10:17, 2 Tm. 3:15-17]

-So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

-And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

3. God’s Spirit [1 John 4:4]

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

 

III. YOU CAN MAKE IT BECAUSE:

1. God Promises It! [Romans 4:21, Ph. 1:6]

-And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ

2. God Prays for It! [Rm. 8:26, 1 Jn. 2:1, Heb. 7:25]

- the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

- we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

- he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

3. God Performs It! [Ph. 1:6, Jude 1:24]

-Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

-Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy
