I. THE MINORITY REPORT [JOSHUA & CALEB]

 

1. They Were in the Minority But They Were Recognized

[Numbers 13:6-8, 13, 25-33]

 

2. They Were in the Minority But They Were Right

[Numbers 14:1-10]

 

3. They Were in the Minority But They Were Rewarded

[Numbers 14:22-30]

 

II. THE MOVERS & SHAKERS [DAVID & JONATHAN] 2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

 

1. They Fought the Good Fight [1 Samuel 14:6-12, 17:26, 37, 45]

 

2. They Finished the Course

[1 Samuel 31:1-6, 1 Kings 2:1-4, 10-11]

 

3. They Kept the Faith [1 Samuel 23:16-17, 1 Kings 15:5]

- And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God. And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.

-Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

 

III. FRIENDLY FRIENDS [ANDREW & PHILIP] Proverbs 18:24

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

 

1. They Followed Jesus [John 1:35-37]

 

2. They Focused on Jesus [John 1:38-39]

 

3. They Found Others [John 1:40-49]
