THE WAYS OF THE WISE

We don’t really know the names of the wise men or how many there were. We know they were wise, we know they came from east of Israel, and we know their ways… the ways of the wise.

I. WISE PEOPLE BELIEVE THE BIBLE [v. 1-2, 4-8; Ps. 19:7, Mt. 7:24, 2 Tm. 3:15]

Num. 24:17 “Notice that the prophecy says a Star shall come out of Jacob-that is, the nation Israel. And a scepter shall rise out of Israel. The star and the scepter go together. That is the only place I know where they are put together in prophecy in the Old Testament.
