I. IT IS WRONG TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS BY:

1. Lying [Jn. 8:44, Ephesians 4:25 6:4]

2. Immorality [1 Cor. 7:1] Mistletoe and beyond. The Bible is clearly talking about outside of the legitimacy of the marriage bond there are places a couple should not go.

3. Imbibing Alcohol [Pr. 20:1]

II. IT IS PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS:

1. By Emphasizing the Birth of Christ [Is. 7:14, Micah 5:2, Mt. 1-2, Lk. 1-2- Angels, Shepherds, prophets, just men & women, a special star, God Himself emphasizes it!]

2. By Decorating [2 Chr. 3, Rev. 21:19]

3. By Attending Services [Heb. 10:25]

4. By Singing God Honoring Christmas Carols [Psalm 7:17; 9:2, 11; 18:49, 30:12, 33:2, 47:6, 57:7]

5. By Special Meals [Esther 9:15-19]

6. By Giving Gifts [Esther 9:20-24]

7. By Setting Aside Special Days [Esther 9:25-32, Rm. 14:5-6]

8. By Glorifying God [1 Corinthians 10:31]

9. By Thinking Right [Philippians 4:8]

10. By Doing Right [Colossians 3: 14-17, 23-25]
