I. THE MAN MOSES
1. He was a Sinner Saved by Grace [Dt. 32:48-52]
2. He had a Strange Death [Dt. 34:5-7]
3. He had a Unique Ministry [Dt. 34:10-12]
II. THE MAN JOSHUA
1. He had the same Spirit of God as Moses [Dt. 34:9]
2. He had a Specific Will of God for His Life [Josh. 1:1-4]
3. He had the Promise of God's Presence [Josh. 1:5, Hebrews 13:5]
III. THE PERSON YOU AND I OUGHT BE [Josh. 1]
1. Be Faithful [v. 7]
2. Be Biblical [v. 8, Galatians 5:1]
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
3. Be Encouraged [v. 9]
