If you really want to know who someone is- really know – you might just ask those closest to them. Ask their family, ask their close friends, and then… ask God.

 

I. JUDE, HIS HALF-BROTHER [Jude]

II. JOHN THE ELDER [1 John]

2. He Advocates For Us [2:1-2]

3. He Secures Us [5:1, 5, 10-13, 19-20]

 

III. GOD THE FATHER [James 1:5]

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

 

1. “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” [Mt. 3:17]

2. “While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” [Mt. 17:5]

3. “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.” [Psalm 45:6, Hebrews 1:8]

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
