II. THE LEARNER OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE [v. 10-18]

 

1. He Learned Our Ways are NOT God’s Ways

2. He Learned Anger is NOT as productive as Listening [v. 12-14]

III. THE LOSER IN THE PROPHET’S HOUSEHOLD [v. 19-27]

 

1. He Lost Because of Lust [v. 19-21, Luke 12:15, James 1:14-15]

-Jesus said “Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”

- But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

 

2. He Lost Because of Lies [v. 22-25, Heb. 4:13]

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

 

3. He Lost Because of Liability [v. 26-27, Heb. 12:5ff]
