II. JOE WOULDN’T COMPROMISE HIS FAITH

2. Faith in Spite of the Dark Hours [39:1-5, 20-23]

3. Faith in God [41:51-52, 45:7ff., 50:20]

III. JOE WOULDN’T COMPROMISE HIS COMPASSION

1. Forgiveness [50:20-21] Mr/Mrs Potiphar, Chief Butler, brothers

2. Fearing God [42:18, 25]

3. Faithful Witness [40:8, 41:15-16, 43:19-23]

(without compromise- compromising “right” is not compassion)
