1. It takes God’s Mercy [v. 3, Eph. 2:4, Titus 3:5]

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

2. It takes Christ’s Resurrection [v. 3, 1 Cor. 15:1-6]

3. It Involves Our Inheritance [v. 3-5]

III. THIS JOY IS FOR THOSE WITH PRECIOUS FAITH [v. 1-9, 6, 8]
