I. THEY SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES [Acts 1:20, Ps. 69:25, Ps. 109:8]

---The questions of life should drive us to the Scripture!

---they prayed - it drove them to the Scriptures - it drove them to pray - it drove them back to the Scriptures - etc.

---Really need to know your Bible to find answers [2 Tm. 2:15]

---Trust God with what you know, study and pray about what you don't know.

II. THEY SURRENDERED TO THE SPIRIT [Acts 1:16]

III. THEY STARTED TO SPEAK [Acts 2:4]

---when someone is filled with the Spirit they always have something to say.

---the true tongues of the New Testament always caused understanding- not confusion [Acts 2, 1 Cor. 14:33]
