2. Homeless from a Fall [v. 4 i.e., his grandfather’s fall from favor, his father’s fall in battle]

 

3. Hopeless from the Fall [v. 5-8]

 

II. THE KIND KING

 

1. He Sought for One to Bless [v. 1-3]

 

2. He Sent for Him [v. 4-5]

 

3. He Shewed Kindness for Another [v. 1, 6-13]

 

III. THE LAMER ONE, THE KINDER KING

 

1. We were Helpless from a Fall but God Sought Us [Rm. 5:12, 8]

 

2. We were Homeless but God Sent for Us [Acts 17:30, Is. 1:18, Mt. 11:28]

 

3. We were Hopeless but God shewed us Kindness for Christ’s Sake [Titus 3:3-8, Ephesians 4:32]
