I. CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL

 

1. Watch the ‘Tude [v. 1-3] Your Attitude often Determines Your Altitude

2. Watch Yourself [v. 4-9] The Best Ability is often Dependability [1 Corinthians 16:13]

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

1 Thessalonians 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

2 Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

3. Watch in Prayer [v. 10-11, Mark 14:38]

Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

 

II. PRIORITIZE YOUR LIFE & WORK

 

1. The Realization of Darius [v. 12-14]

2. The Restlessness of Darius [v. 15-19]

3.  The Rejoicing of Darius [v. 20-23]

 

III. LEAVE THE RESULTS UP TO GOD

 

1. The King’s Command [v. 24]

2. The King’s Decree [v. 25-27]

3. THE KING’S SERVANT [v. 28] He served earthly kings well because Daniel was serving God v.5, 11, 16, 20, 22-23, 26-27
