LUKE 24:13-16, 28-31
I. SAD HEARTS [v. 17]
-they didn't recognize the presence of the risen Christ [v. 16]
-they thought Jesus was dead [v. 20-24]
-we miss the joy of being revived [Ps. 85:4-6]
II. SLOW HEARTS [v. 25]
-not believing God right away [v. 25, Mk. 16:14, Lk. 24:11, Phil. 2:5, 4:7-9]
III. STIRRED HEARTS [v. 31-32]
-He talked with them [v. 32]
-He opened the Scriptures [v. 32]
-They opened their eyes [v. 31] the first 2 things led up to the third
IV. SATISFIED HEARTS [v. 51]
-you have to see your sin
-you have to see the solution- Jesus Himself [v. 15, 36]
