Q: When did you choose to be straight?

A: God made us male and female and designed us for heterosexual activity within the bounds of marriage (Genesis 2:18–25). That must be the defined normal position from which anyone chooses to wander or hold fast. We must start our arguments from the truth of God's Word, not from the presuppositions of a worldview that rejects God.
I did not choose to be straight; God made me straight. All people are born within the male and female order of creation. If I choose any other possibility, I am choosing a perversion of God's good design. I am willingly choosing to act on sexual desires that God has called sinful rather than embracing what God has commanded.

Get Equipped War of the Worldviews: Powerful Answers For An "Evolutionized" Culture
What do aliens, dinosaurs and gay marriage have in common? They are all part of the culture war—a war between two worldviews. One view is based on a biblical understanding of history, the other on pure naturalism. Our educational institutions and the media are on the front lines of evolutionizing our culture.
Ken Ham's article answers the question, How should a Christian respond to "gay marriage?"
In this powerful book, you will find ammunition for the war: answers to some of the most common arguments for evolution, analysis of Christian compromise and a call for a return to true biblical authority.

Evolution vs. God

Ray ComfortRay Comfort's new film Evolution vs. God: Shaking the Foundations of Faith demonstrates that students and professors cannot defend their faith in evolution.
We are pleased to host the public premier of this new film on the opening night of our Answers Mega Conference, July 22, 2013.
Read Ken's blog post from Friday for more information on this important film and the upcoming Mega Conference.

News to Know Quick Look

Power Swimming up the Evolutionary Ladder: How do dolphins, seals, and whales routinely stay underwater for 20 minutes at a time, and some even up to 90 minutes? The "mammalian diving reflex" operates in all mammals and facilitates these impressive feats. But champion divers have an edge—an extraordinary capacity to store oxygen in their muscles.
Flexi-feet: Did Some Humans Fail to Leave Them in the Trees?: A recent study highlighted the similarity of the walking gait of some humans to that of tree-dwelling apes. The "mid-tarsal break" characterizes apes, but evidently is also present in a small population of humans. While this is not evidence of common ancestry, it does indicate a common Designer who allows variation within His good design.
Turtle in the Gap: The shell of a turtle forms by the fusion of various bones. Fossil evidence of turtles demonstrates a variety of bony configurations in the shells, but each fossil confirms that the creature is still a turtle.
