I. JESUS SAYS “COME” –
HE WILL BE YOUR MESSIAH/SAVIOUR
1. “COME” – We need Him [v. 27-28, Eph. 2:11-18]
2. “COME” – We are Wanted by Him [v. 28, Is. 1:18] who
should come? Children Old people Middle-aged Everybody
3. “COME” – We are Secure in Him [v. 27-28, Jn. 6:37-40]
II. JESUS SAYS “TAKE”
– HE WILL BE YOUR MASTER [v. 29-30]
There are two yokes- your choice
1. The Yoke of
Bondage [Acts 15:10, Gal. 5:1]
2. The Yoke of Christ [v. 29-30]
Trust in God to do right.
To do right- trust in God.
Trust in God and do right.
III. JESUS SAYS
“LEARN” – HE WILL BE YOUR MENTOR [v. 29]
1. Learn of His Humble Heart and Be Comforted [1 Cor. 4:6,
14:31]
2. Learn of His Humble Heart and Be Content [Phil. 2:5,
4:9-11]
3. Learn of His Humble Heart and Continue [2 Tm. 2:15, 20-22;
3:14, Titus 3:14]
