MAKE IT A BLESSED THANKSGIVING

Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

 Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful

 

I. THREE THANKSGIVING ACTIONS [Psalm 100]

1. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD [v. 1-2]

2. Serve the LORD with gladness [v. 2-3]

3. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving [v. 4-5]

 

II. THREE THANKSGIVING TRAGEDIES [Rm. 1:21]

1. They knew God but Glorified Him Not

2. They were Not Thankful

3. They Became Vain and Foolish

1. Clothe Yourself with Attributes of Christ [v. 12-14]

2. Let God Rule in a Thankful Heart [v. 15]
