All of the Bible is God’s Word. All of the Bible is important. But not all of the Bible is as important as other parts of the Bible. The names of the various kings of Israel and Judah are not as important as the Gospel of Christ. Jesus said in Matthew 23:23, Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. With that in mind, I start a series of sorts, entitled, “KEY CHAPTERS OF THE BIBLE.” This is not a series that will follow every week but from time to time, as the Lord leads, we will examine another key chapter. We begin tonight with Hebrews 11.
