II. STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL [v. 11]
1. Resist with your will [v. 12, James 4:7]
2. Resist in your mind [1 Pt. 5:8]
Satan's wiles:
-trick #1 -Deception- he is the father of lies
-trick #2 -Doubt- "did God say?"
-trick #3 -Discouragement- "Discouragement does not come from God"
-trick #4 -Distress- Jacob facing Esau in Gn. 32:7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed:

3. Stand in the Power of HIS Might [Rest] [Eph. 6:10]
It is HIS fight, HIS armor & HIS might - Rest in Him
Ex. 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day
