1. A Person in Hell Cannot Obtain Mercy [v. 24-25]

II. 3 THINGS A DEAD MAN CAN’T DO FROM HEAVEN

 

1. A Person in Heaven Will Not Be Recycled/reincarnated [v. 23]

 

2. A Person in Heaven Cannot Comfort Those in Hell [v. 26]

 

3. A Person in Heaven Cannot Testify on Earth [v. 28]

 

III. 3 THINGS WE CAN DO THAT PEOPLE IN HEAVEN/HELL CAN’T DO

 

1. Testify [v. 28, Ps. 107:1-2]

 

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

 

2. Change Our Eternal Destiny [29-31, 1 Cor. 6: 9-11]

 

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be? not deceived: neither: fornicators, nor, idolaters, nor, adulterers, nor, effeminate, nor, abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

 

3. Live to Leave A Testimony [v. 27-28, Heb. 11: 4]

 

By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
