THREE ROADS WE MIGHT TRAVEL

LUKE 22:31-62

I. THE ROAD TO RUIN

 

1. Failure to Heed God’s Word [v. 31-34]

3. Failure to Huddle with God’s People [v. 54-60]

 

II. THE ROAD TO RESTORATION

 

1. Recognize God’s Sovereignty [v. 60-61a]

2. Remember God’s Word [v. 61b]

3. Repent God’s Way [v. 62, 2 Corinthians 7:10]

 

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

 

III. THE ROAD TO RICHNESS (abundance)

 

1. Die to Self – Humility [v. 31-34]

2. Die to Self – Prayer [v. 40-41]

3. Die to Self – Submission [v. 42]
