SO GREAT SALVATION

1 PETER 1:5-17

I. Its Finish is Great [v. 5-9]

1. Guarded by God [v. 5]

2. Ready to be Revealed [v. 5, Eph. 2:7] 

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

3. Guaranteed Goal [v. 6-9, Ph. 1:6] 

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

II. Its Fans are Great [v. 10-12]

1. Prophets [v. 10-12a, Ps. 22]

2. Preachers [v. 12b, Rm. 10:14-15]

3. Angels [v. 12c, Heb. 1:14] 

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

III. Its Fashion is Great [v. 13-17]

1. Think in a Serious Fashion [v. 13]

2. Think in a Separated Fashion [v. 14-15]

3. Think in a Sanctified Fashion [v. 15-17]
