I. WITH THEM

1. The Old Testament Saints [Matthew 8:11] And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

2. The New Testament Saints [John11: 24] Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

3. The Saints of All Ages that Have Gone On Before Us [v. 13-17]

II. WE

1. It is Exclusive – “we” not “them” [v. 12-17] without Christ, without hope, without God- Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

2. It is Inclusive – “we which are alive and remain” [v. 17] not “we the perfect” or “we the Baptists” or “we the snooty”

3. It is Elusive – no man knows the day nor the hour [v. 17] Paul expected to be alive, so do I, it’s how Jesus told us to do

III. WITH THE LORD

1. Oh- the Privilege to Meet the Lord without Dying [v. 17]

2. Oh- the Passage to Meet the Lord in the Air [v. 17]

3. Oh- the Permanence to Ever Be with the Lord [v. 17]
