3. Christ-centered [v. 28, Ephesians 5:23 … Christ is the head of the church]

 

II. THE EXALTATION OF CHRIST

 

1. By Emphasizing the Gospel [v. 24, Rm. 1:16, I Cor. 15:1ff]

 

2. By Bible Preaching [v. 27-28, 2 Tm. 3:16-17]

 

3. by Christ-honoring Music [v. 32, Colossians 3:15-17]

 

III. THE EXAMPLE OF PAUL

 

1. Be Friendly [v. 21, Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.]

 

2. Be Faithful [v. 32, 1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.]

 

3. Be Family [v. 35, Ephesians 3:14-21]
