ISAIAH 46:9-13

I. WHAT SAITH THE SPIRIT IN GENESIS?

 

1. God promised Abraham the land, among other things [Gen. 12:1-7]

 

2. The promise was only dependent on God, not Abraham [Gn. 15]

 

3. Nothing later can change that promise, not even the law [Galatians 3:17]

 

II. WHAT SAITH THE SPIRIT IN ZECHARIAH?

 

1. Jesus Christ will be Recognized [12:1-14, Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.]

 

2. Jesus Christ will be Redeemer [13:1-9]

 

3. Jesus Christ will be Reigning [14:1-21]

 

III. WHAT SAITH THE SPIRIT IN ROMANS?

 

1. Some Jews are Saved now [11:1-9]

 

2. Jews and Gentiles can both be saved now [11:10-24]

 

3. Israel, as a saved nation, has a future [11:25-36]
