I. “FREEDOM” – WHICH ISN’T FREE

 

1. Freedom is a Result of Truth [Jn. 8:32-36]

 

2. Freedom is a Result of Sacrifice [Rm. 3:23-26]

 

3. Freedom is a Result of Right Choices [Rm. 3:22, 26-30, Jn. 1:12]

 

II. “INDEPENDENCE” –WHICH IS NOT INDEPENDENT

 

1. To be Independent of Man One Must Be Dependent on God [Rm. 3:4]

 

2. To be Independent of Sin One Must Be Dependent on Righteousness [6:13-23]

 

3. To be Independent of Works One Must Be Dependent on Grace [Rm. 11:6]

 

III. “LIBERTY” – WHICH IS NOT LICENSE

 

1. Liberty is Given so we can Stand [Gal. 5:1]

 

2. Liberty is Given so we can Serve [Gal. 5:13-14, 1 Pet. 2:16]

 

3. Liberty is Given so we can Submit [James 1:22-25, 2:8-13]
