II. JESUS IS THE NAME FOR SOVEREIGNTY

 

1. Per Angelic Announcement [Lk. 1:30-33, Is. 9:6-7]

 

2. Per Apostolic Inducement [1 Cor. 1:10, Col. 3:17, 2 Th. 3:6]

 

3. Per Actual Government [Is. 45:21-23, Phil. 2:10]

 

III. JESUS IS THE NAME FOR SEPARATION

 

1. By Some it is Vilified [Acts 4:18-19, 5:40-42]

 

2. By Some it is Testified [Acts 8:25, 18:5, 21:13, 23:11,28:23]

 

3. By Some it is Magnified [Acts 19:17]

 

Why not? Through it we are sanctified [1 Cor. 1:2], justified [1 Cor. 6:11] and glorified [2 Th. 1:12] and that is true of NO OTHER NAME!
