Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

II. GOD-GIVEN ABILITIES [v. 8-10]

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive °? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

Genesis 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
