EXODUS 12:25-27
Pastor Rick Jackson
Not a bad question. A question often asked by
children. A question we should ask ourselves more often. A question that should
be answered directly from the Word of God or at least in compliance with its
teachings.
I. WHAT MEAN YE BY THIS SERVICE? [Ex. 12:25-27]
We mean:
1. It’s by the Lord
2. It’s by the Blood
3. It’s for Deliverance
1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as
ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
II. WHAT MEAN THE TESTIMONIES…? [Dt. 6:20]
1. God brought us out [v. 21-22]
2. God’s bringing us in [v. 23]
3. God’s preserving us alive [v. 24-25]
III. WHAT MEAN YE BE THESE STONES? [Josh 4:6]
1. God goes before You [3:6-17]
2. God is with You in the Midst [4:1-5]
3. God wants You to Remember [4:6-11]
When children ask about Easter, or Christmas, or anything else- do you tell them of the great God or do you tell them stories?
1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
