JEREMIAH 23:25-40

I. THE APPROACH
1. Reverence it as Holy [1 Thessalonians 2:13]
2. Read it honestly [Luke 8:15, Philippians 4:8-9]
3. Respond to it humbly [2 Chronicles 7:14, 34:26-28]
II. THE APPLICATION
1. By the Word of God we are kept from Satan [Ps. 17:4]
2. By the Word of God we are
kept from Sin [Ps. 119:11]
3. By the Word of God we are
continually Sanctified [Jn. 17:14, 17]
III. THE ALTERNATIVE
1. God’s Word Cannot be Rejected
with Impunity [Jer. 6:19]
2. God’s Word Cannot be
Repealed with Imagination [Jer. 6:19, 7:23-24]
3. God’s Word Cannot be
Replaced with Imitations [Jer. 16:10-11]
