We get so much from the Lord- have you ever considered what you can give Him? The Scriptures are replete with much we can give to Jesus- not that He needs anything, but like a parent enjoys the expression of giving that a child can make, the Lord enjoys when we give to Him. What can we give the Lord?
I. WE CAN OFFER HIM OUR WELCOME [v. 38, Rev. 3:20]
II. WE CAN OFFER HIM OUR ATTENTION [v. 39, Mt. 7:24-26; 10:14, 27; 11:15]
III. WE CAN OFFER HIM OUR SERVICE [v. 40a, Rm. 12:1-2]
IV. WE CAN OFFER HIM OUR TREASURES [v. 40a, Acts 6:1-4, II Sam. 24:24]
V. WE CAN OFFER HIM OUR PROBLEMS [v. 40b, Jn. 11:21ff]
VI. WE CAN OFFER HIM OUR SINS [Is. 53:1-6, 1:18; Mt. 11:28]
No one else wants them. No other religious leader wants them. II Cor. 5:21
