Sumner in hospital pray for Him

Sumner wanted me to write this up and send it out since he is in the hospital tonight. He had to go to emergency room today for a catscan - had a problem this morning and blacked out for a minute or so. Before he went in we said the Lord must have somebody waiting to be saved up there today.

He gave out tracts to everybody he met and one unsaved nurse from India told him he would be spending the night for observation, he said he didn't want to spend the night and she said "You have to to give more of these (tracts) out. Everybody needs one". He felt that was amazing that she had enough wisdom to see that when lots of Christians don't.

Finally a young man named Ryan who had recently married came to take him to an observation room for the night. When he asked him if he knew for sure he was going to heaven, he said well, I believe I am when he followed that up with why? he told him he like to help people. Of course Sumner proceeded to give him the gospel how that we were all in the same boat and had all done wrong and that God loved us so much he sent his Son to die on the cross for our sins and he was buried and rose again and was seen by hundreds. He listened intently and responded yes, when Sumner asked if he would like to receive Christ as His Savior and prayed out loud with him. Then he went over about reading the Bible and where to start etc.

He probably gave out 30 tracts this afternoon. As he would say - they're everywhere!
