I. “FREEDOM”WHICH ISN’T FREE

1. It is a result of TRUTH (Jn. 8:32-36)

2. It is a result of SACRIFICE (Rm. 3:23-26)

3. It is a result of right CHOICES (Rm. 3:22, 26-30)

II. “INDEPENDENCE” WHICH ISN’T INDEPENDENT

1. To be independent of man one must be dependent on God (Rm. 3:4)

2. To be independent of sin one must be dependent on righteousness (Rm. 6:13)

3. To be independent of works one must be dependent on Grace (Rm. 11:6)

4. To be independent of Satan one must be dependent on Christ (II Co. 6:15-18)

III. “LIBERTY” WHICH IS NOT LICENSE

1. Liberty is given so we can stand (Gal. 5:1)

2. Liberty is given so we can serve (Gal. 5:13-14, I Pt. 2:16)

3. Liberty is given so we can obey the Word (James 1:22-25, 2:8-13)
