JESUS SAW
MARK 2
Pastor Rick
Jackson
I. JESUS
SEES THE UNSEEABLE [MARK 2]
1. Jesus Saw
Their Faith [v. 1-5a]
2. Jesus Saw
the Palsied Man’s Faith to be Saved [v. 5b]
3. Jesus Saw
Their Hearts [v. 6-12, 1 Sam. 16:7]
the LORD
seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD
looketh on the heart.
II. JESUS
SEES THE UNSEEN [LUKE 19:1-5] “and saw him”
1. Jesus Saw
a Man Ready to See Him [v. 1-5]
2. Jesus Saw
a Man Ready for a Change [v. 5-8, 2 Cor. 5:17]
Therefore if
any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new.
3. Jesus Saw
a Man Ready for Salvation [v. 9-10, Jn. 4:34-35]
Jesus saith
unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his
work. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I
say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white
already to harvest.
III.
JESUS SEES THE UNSEARCHABLE [JOHN 11:20-32]
1. Jesus
Sees Our Tears [v. 33, Psalm 56:8]
Thou tellest
my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
2. We Want Jesus
to See Our Broken Hearts and He Does [v. 34-38]
3. Jesus
Sees the End from the Beginning [v. 4, 15, 39-45, 12:10-11, Is. 46:9-10]
Remember the
former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there
is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times
the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do
all my pleasure:
