THE GOAL

MATTHEW 22:34-40

There is nothing more important than your relationship with God. If there is nothing more important than your relationship with God then make sure your heart is right with God.

1. Make sure it is God that you love.

Things can get in the way - job, hobbies, sports, friends, etc. Things can become hazards on the road to loving God supremely. You will not have peace and satisfaction (even if you are saved) if your relationship with God is not what it ought to be.

2. Ask God to increase your love.

3. Spend the time [Ps. 46:10]

4. Live it out [John 14:15, 23-24]

Running a race without know the goal is chaos. Living the Christian life without knowing the goal is misery.
