WHAT THINK YE OF CHRIST?

If you really want to know who someone is- really know – you might just ask those closest to them. Ask their family, ask their closest friends, and then… ask them.

 

I. JAMES, THE HALF-BROTHER OF JESUS, SAYS, “HE IS THE LORD”

 

1. He is “the Lord Jesus Christ” [1:1, 7, 12]

2. He is “the Lord of Glory” [2:1, 4:10, 15; 1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.]

3. He is the Coming “Lord of sabaoth” [5:4, 7-8, 10-11, 14-15, Romans 9:27-33]

 

II. PETER, THE UNOFFICIAL SPOKESMAN FOR THE 12, SAYS “HE IS PRECIOUS”

 

1. His Payment is Precious [1 Peter 1:19]

2. His Position is Precious [1 Peter 2:4-7]

3. His Promises are Precious [2 Peter 1:1-4]

 

III. JESUS’ OWN TESTIMONY [JOHN 8:13-19] Jesus said-

 

1. “I AM The Bread of Life” [Jn. 6:35-41]

2. “I AM The Light of the World” [Jn. 8:12]

3. “I AM”  [Jn. 8:56-59, Exodus 3:14]

4. “I AM the Door” [Jn. 10:7-9]

5. “I AM the Good Shepherd [Jn. 10:11-18]

6. “I AM the Resurrection and the Life” [Jn. 11:25-27]

7. “I AM the Way, the Truth & the Life” [Jn. 14:6]
