GOD’S BC’S FOR LIFE’S HEADACHES

In the early days of Bradford Baptist Church I used to think Brother Henry Hodges resembled Richard Petty. They both love racing, cowboy hats, and moustaches. Richard Petty is also spokesman for BC Powders- a headache treatment. The Bible teaches us some BCs that help in life’s headaches and Brother Henry loves the Bible. Many headaches could be avoided if we would:

 

I. Be Consistent

 

1. God will bless [1 Peter 2:15]

 

2. Others will take note [ 1 Peter 3:13-17]

 

3. Decisions will be easier [1 Peter 4:12-19]

 

II. Be Content

 

1. With His Provision [Phil. 4:10-13]

 

2. With Your Possessions [1 Tm. 6:6-10]

 

3. With His Presence [Heb. 13:5]

 

III. Be Careful

 

1. Be Caring [Ps. 142:4]

 

2. Be Careful [Titus 3:8]

 

3. Be Compassionate [Jude 22]
