I. WITHOUT CHRIST THERE ARE NO REAL ANSWERS

 

1. Christ is the Answer to the Question of Salvation [Acts 16:30-31, 4:12]

 

2. Christ is the Answer to the Question of the Usefulness of Life [John 15:1-5, Matthew 10:39, 16:25]

 

3. Christ is the Answer to the Question of the Future [Acts 1:7-8, Philippians 1:23]

 

II. WITHOUT CHRIST THERE IS NO REAL PEACE

 

1.  You Must Know Him [2 Tm. 1:12, Philippians 3:8-10]

 

2. You Must Walk with Him [Amos 3:3, 1 Jn. 1:3-7]

 

3.  You Must Look to Him [Hebrews 12:2,  Jude 1:21]

 

Sympathetic [Heb.  4:15] Sorrowing [Is. 53:3] Severe [Mt. 23] Singing [Mt. 26:30] Suffering [1 Pt 2:21, 23, 3:18, 4:1, 5:10]

 

III. WITHOUT CHRIST THERE IS NO REAL POWER [Mt. 28:18, Acts 1:8] Why do Christians lack Christ’s power?

 

1. Stubbornness- a lack of submission [Romans 6:11, 1 Corinthians 15:31]

 

2. Ignorance- a lack of study [2 Timothy 2:15]

 

3. Weakness- a lack of the Spirit’s fullness [Eph. 5:18]
