WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT GOD?

EXODUS 3

I. WHAT DOES GOD KNOW ABOUT YOU?

1. God Knows Where to Find You [v. 1-3, Psalm 8:4]

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

2. God Knows Your Name [v. 4, Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.]

3. God Knows your Liability [v. 5, Ps. 103:14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.]

II. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT GOD?

1.  He is the God of the Living [v. 6, Matthew 22:32 …God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.]

2. He is the God of the Afflicted [v. 7, Psalm 140:12]

I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

3.  He is the God of Deliverance [v. 8, 2 Timothy 4:18]

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

III. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HIS PROMISES?

1. The Promise of His Purpose [v. 9-11, Romans 8:28]

2. The Promise of His Presence [v. 12-16, Hebrews 13:5]

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

3. The Promise of His Power [v. 17-20, Acts 1:8]

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
