ACTS 20:17-27

I. THE RIGHT SERVICE [v. 17-19]

1. The Right Service is Service to God [v. 17-19a, Lk. 4:8]

2. The Right Service is with Humility [v. 19b, Micah 6:8]

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

3. The Right Service is from the Heart [v. 19c, 2 Chronicles 31:20-21]

And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God. And in every work that he And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

II. THE RIGHT MESSAGE [v. 20-21]

1. The Right Message is Bible-Based [v. 20, 2 Tm. 3:15-17]]

2. The Right Message is God-Focused [v. 21a]

3. The Right Message is Christ-Centered [v. 21b]

III. THE RIGHT LIFE [v. 22-27]

1. The Right Life should be Led of the Spirit [v. 22-23, Matthew 4:1]

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

2. The Right Life should be Looking to the Lord [v. 24, Heb. 12:2]

3. The Right Life should be Lived for Eternity [v. 25-27]
