1. The Actions of the Wicked [v. 16]

2. The Death of the Innocent [v. 16]

3. The Sorrow of the Survivors [v. 17-18]

 

II. THE TRAGEDIES OF CHRISTMAS ARE:

 

1. When People are Troubled by the Saviour’s Being [v. 1-3]

2. When People Know what the Bible says but are NOT Interested in Following It [v. 4-6]

3. When People use Godly Actions to Justify Devilish Actions [v. 16]

 

III. CHRISTMAS ALLOWS TRAGEDY TO BE TURNED INTO TRIUMPHS

 

1. When People Seek “the kingdom of God” in their Lives [v. 1-2, 8, 6:33]

2. When People Worship the One True God [v. 9-11, 4:10]

3. When People Obey God’s Holy Word [v. 5, 8, 12-14]
